IncidentsSwedish reality show's finished season wiped out; report blames an AI agent, premiere pushed to 2027

All edited footage for The Challenge Sverige, a Swedish reality show due to premiere Nov 22, was deleted, pushing the season to 2027.

TechRadar, citing Swedish daily Aftonbladet, reported that production company Mastiff "let an AI agent into the server" during final touches and the entire edit was deleted with no way to recover it. Broadcaster TV4 confirmed only a "technical breakdown" and has not said an AI agent was responsible. Aftonbladet said several hundred days of work were lost.

Presenter Ahmed Berhan said: "I knew AI would be the death of me. This is just the beginning."
