Connect AI News Daily as an MCP server and Claude Code or Codex can show you the day's AI headlines with their first sentence. Each story comes with a link to read the full piece on this site.

Claude Code

Run one line in your terminal. --scope user turns it on for every project.

Codex

Run this in the Codex CLI, or add [mcp_servers.ailetter] with a url to ~/.codex/config.toml.

What you'll see

Open a new session after connecting and the first conversation of the day starts with today's headlines. It won't repeat them the same day. Some clients only show them when you ask.

Ask "show me today's AI news" any time. Ask in English for the English edition, in Korean for the Korean one.

If today's edition isn't out yet, you get the latest one with a note saying so.

What gets sent

There is one tool, today_ai_news. It returns each headline, its first sentence and a link to the story page.

No login or API key. The only value the server receives is the language (ko or en). Your conversation is never sent.

Disconnect

For Claude Code, run the command below. For Codex, delete the [mcp_servers.ailetter] block from ~/.codex/config.toml.
