SpaceXSI, SpaceX's AI unit formerly known as xAI, released its speech-to-speech model Grok Voice 3.0 on Oct 14.

The company says it ranks first on Artificial Analysis's Speech-to-Speech Index with 86.9. According to SiliconANGLE, OpenAI's GPT-Live-1 scored 83.2 and Google's Gemini 3.8 Live 82.6. On Tau-Voice, a support-call test with heavy accents and background noise, OpenAI led 74.5% to 71.6%, though Grok reached first audio about 40% faster.

At Starlink's call centers it handles about 20,000 calls a day and resolves roughly 70% without a person. API pricing stays at 8 cents a minute. The announcement passed 7,700 likes.

“Introducing Grok Voice 3.0, the world’s most intelligent speech-to-speech model.”
