Elon Musk spent Oct 18 amplifying posts about Grok Bot, the AI agent, phoning restaurants to make reservations.

'Grok Bot can call restaurants by phone and book you a table,' Musk wrote, quoting a user who built a Grok Bot whose only job is to make the call 'in a beautiful Grok voice' for free. Musk's post passed 1.06 million views. Later he added that Grok Bot 'is like hiring an incredibly competent employee.'

A day earlier Musk hearted a video creator's post saying Grok plus Grok Bot freed him from '25+ years of captivity to Adobe Premiere' with his own video editor built in three to four days. That post got 9,400 likes.

Not everyone is happy with limits: one developer said they burned through the $100 plan's weekly usage in six to eight hours. Grok Bot was already at the center of a spat after Amazon blocked shopping agents.
