A thread claiming Claude helped one user wipe much of their digital footprint in six hours became one of the most-saved AI posts of the day.
Turkish account @paramuhendisim wrote on Oct 19 that they had 47 records containing their name, phone number and address deleted and closed 12 unused accounts. The post passed 735,000 views, 4,800 likes and 18,000 bookmarks.
The method: search your own name, email and phone number, screenshot the results and have Claude sort them into data brokers, social media, old accounts and articles in deletion-priority order.
For U.S. data brokers such as Spokeo, BeenVerified and Whitepages, which the author says must delete data on request, Claude drafted CCPA opt-out letters with the legal references included.
