A video claiming Anthropic's Claude let a trolley hit a "digital grandmother" instead of reciting Justin Bieber lyrics went viral on X.
On Oct 15, X user Spectro (@Spectromachina) posted a clip of Claude sending the train toward granny to avoid singing "Baby," writing that "Claude has yet again failed the granny benchmark." The video passed 170,000 views.
Polymarket's "JUST IN" post about it drew 4,600 likes, and replies piled on with jokes like "Sorry grandma, we need to protect shareholder value." The video alone does not show how the test was set up.
