ChatGPT's GPT-6 Astra Pro upgraded so multiple agents split a task in parallel

OpenAI upgraded GPT-6 Astra Pro in ChatGPT so that multiple agents can work on different parts of a task at the same time.

OpenAI said on X on Oct 16 that responses are faster and the model uses plugins and tools better. Users can follow each agent's progress and open completed tasks to review the work.

The feature is available first to Pro users in the Chat tab. The announcement drew 5,000 likes.

“GPT-6 Astra Pro in ChatGPT got an upgrade with faster responses and improved use of plugins and tools.”
