Nvidia has reportedly stopped making its top gaming card, the GeForce RTX 5090.

Tom's Hardware reported on Oct 12 that leaker @hongxing2020 cited a factory notice saying Nvidia will no longer manufacture any RTX 5090 models, including China's 'D' variants. The GB202 chip will go only to data center and professional cards.

The notice said the RTX 5080 24GB will become the top GeForce card and the 16GB version will be discontinued. Nvidia has made no announcement and did not respond to a request for comment.

Dexerto's post on the report passed 7,000 likes on X, while some replied that the card was never in stock anyway.
