Claims on X that Anthropic's next model is being tested inside Claude Code drew wide attention. Anthropic has not announced any new model.
User @chetaslua wrote on October 11 that "Claude Next is being tested on claude code" and posted video output he said was made purely with code, claiming it makes "even Opus 5.5 look primitive." His follow-up post drew 1,900 likes and 110,000 views.
Another user, @marmaduke091, posted a 3D scene he called a "Claude-next model ONE SHOT," saying a one-sentence prompt ran for two hours with Blender MCP to build it from scratch.
Neither post explained how they got access to an unreleased model or showed that the output came from one. Anthropic's newsroom had no new model announcement as of Monday morning in Korea.
