A court-record screenshot of Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei saying under oath that he does not know his own home address spread on X on Nov. 7.
The image, said to come from the federal court records system PACER, started with a post by @_smitop that drew about 5,700 likes and 1 million views. Prediction market Kalshi reposted it as "JUST IN" (about 7,600 likes, 650,000 views). Neither post says which case the testimony is from.
Replies split between jokes and pushback. One user called it "the most corporate way to dodge a question." Steve Sailer asked whether a precise home address is really essential for the public record (about 380 likes), and AI-safety activist Holly Elmore wrote, "I also wouldn't want to put my address in the public record... it's needlessly endangering in today's world."
Another user said a lawyer would have told him not to answer and to take it up with the court, adding that the testimony came around the time Sam Altman's home was firebombed. The screenshot is a capture posted on X, not the original document.
