Anthropic to share Q3 results with investors on the 14th…a $2 trillion listing floated

Anthropic will disclose its third-quarter financials for the first time at a meeting with institutional investors at its San Francisco headquarters on Oct 14 (US time).

CNBC reported on Oct 13, citing two people familiar with the matter, that Anthropic is holding the meeting as it prepares an IPO that could be the largest ever. Bloomberg first reported the meeting, and Anthropic declined to comment.

The sources told CNBC that Anthropic is pursuing a listing valued at about $2 trillion based on its latest reported revenue, which could top $100 billion by year-end. That would be ahead of SpaceX's debut. Anthropic filed confidentially with the SEC earlier this year but has not made its S-1 financials public. Reuters reported a November listing, but CNBC could not confirm a date.

Last week, confusion over a report on OpenAI's revenue dragged down chip stocks and the Nasdaq. OpenAI told investors its revenue is $50 billion, not the $70 billion widely reported, a figure that strips out cloud partner revenue. It is unclear whether Anthropic will count partner revenue the same way.

“Reminder: Anthropic is reportedly holding an institutional investor day on Wednesday, October 14, ahead of its potential IPO.”
