RobotsJensen Huang told four robot ducks to nap and only three fell over; the clip passed 280,000 views
A Korean OBS News clip of Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang bossing around four duck-shaped robots by voice on the GTC Berlin stage passed 280,000 views after it went up Oct 22.
Per TechEBlog, when Huang told them to take a nap, three toppled over right away and the fourth kept walking a few steps before lying down. Asked for a somersault, only a couple managed it, and Huang called a wandering one back with "Pay attention. Stay focused. Come here." The robots are Microducks from French company Pollen Robotics, now merged with Hugging Face: about 10 inches tall, under two pounds, with 15 motors, a camera and a depth sensor, and a fully open-source software stack.
The Register said the demo showed a workflow where AI is trained in the cloud, evaluated on an Nvidia RTX Spark PC, then deployed to the robots.
