Claude now auto-connects company plugins at login: 14 services including Notion, Linear and Figma, in beta on Team and Enterprise

Anthropic has added auto-connection of company plugins when users log in to Claude. ClaudeDevs posted on X on Nov. 3 that users can auto-connect plugins at login with MCP servers that accept Claude as a trusted issuer; the post drew about 3,800 likes.

There are two routes. If an organization's identity provider supports Enterprise-Managed Authorization (EMA), an open MCP extension, admins connect plugins for the whole organization at once. If not, Claude can vouch for each signed-in member directly; this is in beta on Team and Enterprise plans, and eligible members with matching emails connect automatically once an admin sets it up for the plugin. ClaudeDevs listed Amplitude, Apollo.io, Atlassian, Datadog, Dropbox, Figma, Granola, HubSpot, Linear, Mixpanel, Notion, PagerDuty, Semrush and Supabase.

Per Anthropic's help page, admins choose roles and scopes under Organization settings > Connectors, and the service's own admin must add Claude's issuer URL as trusted. Members start connected the first time they use a plugin, with no sign-in or consent screen. Limits: Claude checks organization membership only, not SSO or MFA, and access already granted at a service must be revoked there separately. The help page lists only seven services for the Claude-issued method, fewer than the 14 announced.

Boris Cherny wrote that signing in to company plugins one by one is annoying, so Claude now auto-connects them for Team and Enterprise admins' teammates the first time they use them (1,100 likes).

“Users can now auto-connect plugins when they log in to Claude, with MCP servers that accept Claude as a trusted issuer.”
