Elon Musk's post telling users to "think of Grok Bot as a work colleague" passed 5,500 likes on X.
TestingCatalog reported on Oct. 31 that SpaceXSI had shipped the first stable version of Grok Bot. It said a Tasks hub, a tab showing all running sessions at once, and a "texting" setting hinting at iMessage and RCS support are in development. One reply said the features are nowhere in Grok Bot 1.0.
How-to posts spread. X user poteto's guide to building good bots and managing a bot team drew 5,100 likes and over 1,000 replies; it says "you don't need a lot of bots, a few good bots can be enough." cb_doge called Grok Bot "the most useful app on my phone right now" (1,300 likes).
Developer Rob Shocks argues in a YouTube video that Grok Bot works best as a manager of coding agents, not the coder: per the description, it plans work, hands it to Claude Code, Codex or Cursor cloud agents, checks proof and reports back. The video passed 19,000 views in a day.
