"My project manager just made a PR with Claude." A developer's post under that title made the day's top posts on Reddit's r/ClaudeAI.
The author wrote that the PM, with no idea what was going on, said "Claude do this," Claude made the pull request and reviewed it as OK, and now several developers must add a human review on top. Human review of AI-created PRs is standard procedure on the team, the author wrote, adding "That's SWE work in 2026." As comments piled on the PM, the author added an edit saying the post only described what happened.
The same day, a post on X asking "So they pay you a $150K salary just to be a middleman between Claude and your boss?" collected 40,000 likes. It carries a video, and what it refers to could not be confirmed.
In an Anthropic experiment published the day before, 50 experts followed Claude Code's suggestion in 86% of choices.
