OpenDots, an open-source dots clone you host yourself, is out

CopilotKit released OpenDots, an open-source take on OpenAI's dots: always-on AI coworkers that move between text, calls and Slack, running on your own server. It includes computer use with a browser, terminal and files, Slack and Teams connections, Spaces and Pages for projects, voice calls, and web and mobile clients. Any agent can plug in through the AG-UI protocol, and any model with an OpenAI-compatible API works.

Several similarly named repositories appeared within three days of DevDay, including the MIT-licensed open-dots and Composio's Mac-only open-dot. While dots are limited to Pro and Business Premium, open source is already trying to copy them.
