KoreaTwo students caught with 'AI glasses' in school exams; Korea's education ministry orders a nationwide survey
After a string of test-takers were caught wearing AI-enabled glasses, South Korea's education ministry will survey every elementary, middle and high school for AI-glasses cheating.
According to ministry data obtained by the Segye Ilbo through Democratic Party lawmaker Han Byung-do, the ministry will run the survey at the end of this month, once second-semester midterm grades and cheating cases are processed.
The ministry said that as of Oct 21 there were two cases of students using or carrying AI glasses during school exams, one each at a middle and a high school in Seoul during first-semester tests. Both students received zero scores.
