JobsGallup: 63% of workers who use AI say they work faster, but daily or weekly use is 40% for college grads and 17% for others

In a worker survey Gallup published on October 6, 63% of employees who have used AI at work said it helps them do the job faster and 56% said it helps them find more creative solutions. 47% said they spend more time on the most interesting parts of the job and 46% said the work is higher quality.

The benefits are uneven. Daily or weekly AI use was 40% among college graduates and 17% among workers without a degree, and 37% among managers versus 25% among individual contributors. Even among users, graduates, younger workers and higher earners reported more of the benefits. The survey ran from January to March.
