On October 6 Anthropic opened its Claude Startups program to more founders. Approved teams get Claude Team free for a year (up to five seats), $1,000 in Claude API credits and office hours with the Applied AI team. The 'Startup Stack' of partner discounts and credits adds up to $45,000. The announcement from @claudeai passed 10,000 likes.

Startups founded within five years, or funded within the last two, can apply with a company email and a short description of what they are building. Venture funding is not required. The free Team year is only for organizations new to Claude Team. The credits expire after six months and work only on the Claude Console API, not on AWS Bedrock or Google Vertex. Applications go through claude.com/programs/startups; check the page for regional eligibility.
