KoreaSKT, Kakao and KT open free beta of "AI for Everyone" in October

"AI for Everyone" (Modu-ui AI), a project run by Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT, starts its beta in October. It lets citizens use a general-purpose chatbot and public-service AI agents at no cost, with three consortia led by SKT, Kakao and KT each launching their own service. SKT starts with chat and search and extends to checking information by phone and applying for public services. Kakao expands from KakaoTalk to phone and web channels so that issuing and submitting public documents happens in one flow. KT builds AI into existing services such as Daum, Musinsa and Zigbang. The full service launches in December.
