How to set workspace trust for running claude ultrareview in CI and scripts
Starting with Claude Code 2.1.309, claude ultrareview requires workspace trust. On a terminal it asks whether to trust the workspace; anywhere else it refuses, so commands you put in CI or scripts are refused from this version on.
In scripts, add --trust-workspace. The flag takes no value, so put a PR number or base branch before it.
claude ultrareview 1234 --trust-workspace
claude ultrareview origin/main --trust-workspace --json
If you can't add the flag, turn the trust check off with an environment variable.
export CLAUDE_CODE_DISABLE_ULTRAREVIEW_TRUST_CHECK=1
claude ultrareview 1234
Everything else is unchanged. The subcommand waits for the review to finish, prints findings to stdout and progress messages to stderr. You can also use --timeout <minutes> (default 45) and --post (post the findings to the PR as one comment). Exit codes are 0 for completed, 1 for failed, stopped or timed out, and 130 for Ctrl-C.
