How to keep using your Claude Code and Codex subscriptions from your phone with T3 Code

T3 Code is an open-source app for driving the agents installed on your computer, such as Claude Code, Codex and Cursor CLI, from one screen. It ships desktop, web, iOS and Android apps, and each agent runs on the subscription you already have. The first stable release, 0.1.0, came out on October 15.

  1. Install and sign in to the agents you want first. T3 Code only controls CLIs that are already authenticated.

  1. Install T3 Code. On macOS, get the desktop app with Homebrew.
brew install --cask t3-code

To run it as a server from the terminal, run the install script and then t3. It starts the server and opens the local web app. To try it once without installing, use npx t3@latest. t3 service install keeps it running in the background, and t3 update moves to a newer release.

curl -fsSL https://t3.codes/install.sh | sh

  1. Connect from your phone or another machine. To avoid router port forwarding, use T3 Connect. In the desktop app, open Settings → Connections, sign in and enable T3 Connect. On a command-line host, run the command below and follow the sign-in instructions. Setup offers a background service; if you decline it, start the server with t3 serve. On the other device, sign in to the same account and choose the environment.

  1. On the same LAN or tailnet you can pair directly instead. Replace <private-ip> with the host's LAN or tailnet address and start the server. If a server is already running, t3 pair generates a fresh link without restarting. Scan the QR code on your phone or paste the pairing URL into Add environment in the receiving app.
t3 serve --host <private-ip>

Pairing links are one-time, so create a new one for each device. A link made with a loopback address such as 127.0.0.1 only reaches the device opening it. The host must stay running and reachable while you work, and the README warns the project is very early and bugs are expected.
