Max subscribers now get $100 or $200 of API credits every month

A line tucked into the Haiku 5.5 announcement (October 7): Max 5x subscribers get $100 a month in API credits, Max 20x get $200, and Team gets up to $500 pooled per organization. If you've only used the Claude app, that's a free budget for trying the API.

At Haiku 5.5 prices, $100 is a billion input tokens ($0.10 per million). Cache reads are $0.01, so anything that repeats the same prompt is close to free.
