Codex CLI 0.162: managed git worktrees are built in, and GPT-6.1 Sol is the default model

Two releases in two days.

• 0.161.0 (October 7): GPT-6.1 Sol becomes the default model. /mcp login signs in to MCP servers from the terminal. Microphone and speaker selection for voice.
• 0.162.0 (October 8): managed git worktree tools (Codex splits parallel work into worktrees for you), task pinning in the Command Center, transcript copy and scroll controls, configuration for custom model providers, clickable URLs in prompts.

The same day, GPT-6.1 Sol Ultrafast landed in Codex and ChatGPT Work: the same model with faster token output. It's on the Pro $500 plan and eligible Enterprise and Edu plans; Enterprise workspace owners have to enable it.
