How to turn on Claude Code Review for every repository in a GitHub organization

Claude Code Review used to require picking repositories one by one. The 2.1.304 changelog on October 19 added an option to cover a whole GitHub organization, including repositories added later.

You need three things first.

  • The GitHub account you connected to Claude is an owner of that GitHub organization.
  • The organization is on github.com. GitHub Enterprise Server and personal accounts aren't eligible.
  • A monthly spend limit is set for your Claude organization or for Code Review.
  1. Open the Code review section in claude.ai Admin settings > Claude Code.
https://claude.ai/admin-settings/claude-code#code-review
  1. In the Repositories table, click Edit on the GitHub organization's row.
  2. Under Review runs, pick Once after PR creation, After every push, Manual or Off, and confirm.

Every repository in that organization then takes the option you picked, overriding ones you had set individually. Repositories you turned off on their own rows stay off. Each repository is covered from its next pull request, and a repository you later set differently is marked Custom in the table.

The organization row has no review level of its own. Keep setting it with the organization default and on repository rows.

If the Claude GitHub App is installed on selected repositories only, Claude reviews just those; widen the app's repository access on GitHub to cover the rest. With many repositories, spend can rise significantly.
