Two ChatGPT changes on October 7 and 8.

• GPT-6.1 Sol Ultrafast (October 8): the same model with faster token output, in ChatGPT Work and Codex. Available on the Pro $500 plan and eligible Enterprise and Edu plans. Enterprise has it off by default; a workspace owner turns it on. Inference residency can be the United States or Europe (EEA plus Switzerland).
• iOS 1.2026.272 (October 7): inline page previews for links in answers, opening Codex task links directly in the app, a redesigned approval picker, a single Plugins entry in the composer menu, faster streaming in long threads.
