Jev를 3년간 비공개로 만든 것이 사흘 만에 오픈소스에 추월당했다는 글이 퍼졌다. Cua의 CUA-S1에 이어 Laya, Nimble 같은 오픈 모델이 줄줄이 나왔고, Jev는 여전히 오픈소스가 아니라 API로만 쓸 수 있다. "지금 AI 회사를 창업하는 게 왜 위험한지 보여주는 사례"라는 진단이 달렸다. 판단 전용 모델이라는 아이디어 자체는 감출 게 없고, 그래서 선점 기간이 며칠 단위로 짧아졌다는 얘기다.

Three years of closed-door development caught up by three days of open-source. This pace is pretty perverse. Don't panic. Pull down that open-source version and just run your own stuff directly.

Actually, Laya's developer published his paper on the new model more than 1 year ago, and it looks like Typeface AI just used that paper to copy the model and sell it as they invented it.

Bro what? its not 3 days instead, it was already there ages ago when jev was launched so, this is nothing new go to reddit read the source that this thing already existed before jev came into being
